Radium Iodate, Ra(IO3)2

According to Deniges, radium may be distinguished microchemically from barium by the use of a 10 per cent, iodic acid solution with a 0.3 per cent, solution of the salt. Typical and distinct precipitates of Radium Iodate, Ra(IO3)2, are obtained.
